Day 3: Dashing Through the Snow!!!

Day 3 of the project, and so far so good! I am actually having a lot of fun with this.

Today, I wandered to Norm's Dollhouse for some Christmas photography and I found reindeer!

Okay, so they're pine reindeer. But at least they smell nice.

Dashing through the snow!

I like this one. He would probably fit right in at the Green Elephant.

And a little sleigh of presents!

Snow angels are just not quite the same in fake snow. But it is warmer.

Speaking of such things, the temperature here has plummeted! It is frickin COLD. Brrr... it's supposed to snow tonight too. So I may have a chance to make real snow angels before I know it.

I guess we'll see tomorrow!

  1. Hello, Miss Miranda.

    Those are very nice reindeer.

Were these pictures taken at Wightwick Manor?

Is Wightwick Manor in the exact same place it was when I was last there?

    Sincerely,

    Lenore

  5. Hey Lenore! Yes, Wightwick Manor is exactly where it has been. No one has moved it. Why do you ask? I got your email. Thanks for writing. Tell everyone "hi" for me, okay?

Thanks, Tiggy! The snow has started to come down here, so I think I'll have plenty of opportunity for snow angels for real in the morning. If I'm up for being frozen. :) You're all into the holidays too! I'm really enjoying your Advent pictures! Nice work!

Thanks, Heather! It's pretty fun. Though, I have no idea what I'm doing for tomorrow. But I had no idea what I was doing for today, so there you go, I guess. :) Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Brrr, Plushpussycat. I'm working on some hot chocolate with a candy cane in it (mmm... peppermint hot cocoa) and it's keeping the chill away quite nicely. I hope you're staying warm too! *hugs*

  6. You're doing such a great job spreading the Christmas joy. I am even thinking of decorations now! The reindeer are cute and real easy to clean up after I bet :-)
    Love your little boots!
Temp has dropped in the land of the tulips too. Storm tomorrow, snow on Friday. Who knows maybe some ice skating soon.

  7. Hey Miri, do those reindeer tickle? Just wondered with you sitting... yeah, so Christmas and we still haven't started the advent calendar. Give us a kick start and we just might get some Hello Kitty chockies before day 5!!!

  8. Hi Miranda, we have the same reindeer at our house!
I like the idea of fake snow - much warmer like you said, and easy to clean up!
It is so cold up here in the north too. Winters last way too long.

  9. Hey NyYxz! Nah, they're not too tickly. I like them. And I would definitely start an advent calendar that involved chocolate. Mmmm... chocolate.

    Hi Isabelle!

Cool! They're pretty neat reindeer! And yeah, fake snow is a LOT warmer. We got some real snow last night (not as much as they said, but some) but I don't think I'm going to make snow angels. It's just too cold. Brrr.
