Not Quite to the Meetup

Well, we didn't make it to the meetup.

Instead, we got rear-ended on the highway on the way there.

The tinies were all safely packed in a box, with pillows, and a taped shut lid. So they were fine, and completely unaware of the accident.

Rabbit and Gage were sitting in my purse, seat belted into the passenger seat. Both seemed fine, if a little bit shaken.

I was wearing my seatbelt, and so far seem to be doing fine as well.

Hami.... well, I'm not sure that Hami survived the accident, but we'll have to wait and see.

Gage got very protective of Rabbit as they snuggled in my purse at the towing place, waiting for Trygve to come pick us up.

The tinies, upon getting home and being let out of the box, immediately realized that we were NOT at the party.

Thorne, bless his heart, tried to fix the situation by bringing out treats and suggesting that the tinies have their OWN party now that they were all safely at home.

Miranda was having none of it, choosing to sulk instead.

Miranda: "Even chocolate will not fix this. I got dressed up for NOTHING! No one saw my adorable cuteness!!!"

Devika seemed just as happy to have some cake and relax at home. She said she was just glad that everyone was okay.

Taelyn announced that he had found a new hat.

Miranda: That isn't a hat.

Taelyn: It's my new cowboy hat!

Miranda: It's a box.

Taelyn! It's my red cowboy hat! It matches my bandana.

Miranda: It's the red box the cake came in!

Taelyn: Nope, it's a HAT! And I am a cowboy.

Miranda: It's a BOX. And you are an IDIOT!

Syri kept to herself, spending her time tuning her guitar in her office. She seemed completely unfazed by it all.

Of them all, I am most concerned about my two love-birds, Rabbit and Gage. They've both been very quiet, and completely inseperable since we got home. We'll see how everyone is tomorrow.

All in all, I think it could've been worse. I am so grateful that none of the dolls, or Gage, were hurt. But I am absolutely heartbroken over losing my Hamster Van. Oh, Hami. (sniffle)
