Strange Behavior

Ahma: Well, it's nice to be back, isn' it?

Louisa: Oh yes, Ahma!

Louisa: It's like we never left!

Prudence: It's weird, it's like nothing's changed at all. Everything's just the same as it was.

Ahma: Mmm hmm.

Calla: Except Lenore isn't here. Because she hates us.

Ahma: Oh, Calla. Lenore doesn't hate anyone. We talked about this, remember? Something bad has happened to Lenore and she's lost her memory. But we'll find a way to get it back. We just need to love her and be ready for when she remembers. Okay?

Calla: Yes, Ahma.

Ahma: Good girl.

Ahma: All right, ladies. I need to go talk with Theia and Emi. You go ahead and get settled and start getting ready for lessons, because school will be starting back up first thing tomorrow.

Girls: Yes, Ahma.

Calla: *sigh* Go away, Higgins. You're bothering me. Bad dog.

Higgins: *whimper*

Prudence: Calla! Higgins wasn't trying to bother you. He loves you!

Louisa: Pretty ironic, chasing Higgins away for being clingy. Since that's how YOU chased Lenore away. This is all YOUR fault, Calla.

Prudence: What did you just say? This isn't Calla's fault! This isn't anyone's fault! Lenore lost her memory and...

Louisa: Sure she did. She's probably just sick of how clingy and whiny Calla is. I don't blame her for deciding she didn't want to be around any of us anymore. I get sick of it too.

Prudence: What a HORRIBLE thing to say! You take that back!

Prudence: This ISN'T Calla's fault!

Calla: *sniffle*

Calla: I keep thinking Lenore must hate me so much, but you're right. We were fine. Lenore didn't hate me.

Calla: This isn't my fault. We were friends. We were fine. Everything was fine until YOU came here.

Calla: This is YOUR fault, Prudence.

Prudence: What? No, it isn't. I mean...

Louisa: Hmm, you could be right, Calla. When it was just the three of us, everything was fine. We had adventures together. And then Prudence came.

Prudence: But... but... Lenore likes me!

Calla: Does she?

Louisa: Does anyone? How many homes have you HAD now anyway? Nobody likes you, do they?

Louisa: Eventually everyone gets tired of you and they send you away. Lenore couldn't send you anywhere, so SHE left because she couldn't stand you anymore.

Calla: Once Miss Wendy gets rid of you, Lenore will come back. And everything will be good again.

Louisa: We could send her somewhere. I know where there are some boxes.

Calla: We'll send you somewhere nice, Prudence.

Louisa: Not that it matters. No one likes you no matter where you go.

Louisa: CALLA! Get her! She's getting away!

Prudence: HELP!!! HELP!!!

Louisa: *snort* Fine... let her go.

Louisa: It won't matter. Miss Wendy will send her off for sure. Especially after we tell her how she was making you cry, telling you how this was all your fault.

Calla: Yeah...

Prudence: I think it's safe, MacFie. I don't think they followed us.

Prudence: But I don't know what we're going to do. I don't WANT to lose another home. I don't. I can't! *sniffle* What are we going to do, MacFie? What are we going to do?

Theia Asks a Favor

Lenore: *typing* "While it is true," said the Princess. "that you have taken everything..."

Lenore: *typing* "It is equally true that I know something that you do not know, you evil Prince! I happen to..."

*quiet knocking*

Spot: Woof!

Lenore: Oh! Hi, Miss Theia!

Theia: Hi, Lenore. I hope I'm not interrupting.

Lenore: Not at all. Please come in.

Lenore: I'm working on my first 'zine. I hope to have it published very soon, so I can sell them to earn the money for that bicycle.

Theia: Oof! That sounds great, Lenore. Ugh. Hi, Spot.

Spot:Woof!

Theia: That was graceful.

Lenore: *laughing*

Theia: Thank you for meeting with me. I have a very important favor to ask you, and I didn't want to ask in email.

Lenore: Of course, Miss Theia. What do you need?

Theia: Well, I have a friend who is taking care of three little girls, and right now they have nowhere to stay. You have so much room here, and the extra beds, I was wondering if they might stay here with you for a while.

Lenore: Of course they can stay here! There's plenty of room and the beds are all very cozy.

Theia: Oh, I was hoping that would be your answer, Lenore. They'll be so happy to be back in their own... to have somewhere comfy to sleep again.

Theia: I will ask them not to bug you while you're writing, but it might be nice for you to have some playmates, hu?

Lenore: Oh, unfortunately, with my busy schedule just now, I really don't have time for playmates. And they won't bother me. Not at all.

Lenore: Because I'll be moving. I'd been thinking that Miss Wendy would really like me closer to her, and it's selfish to keep myself in here away from her, so I was going to see about moving my room onto that empty shelf in HER room. And then I'll always be there for her.

Theia: Well, I hadn't thought about that. I guess we've still got your old daybed in storage, but that room would be so much smaller, Lenore.

Lenore: I don't need much space. Just a place to sleep and my laptop. Writers really don't need much, Miss Theia.

Theia: Well, I didn't mean to put you out of your room. I thought you could all stay in here together.

Lenore: This will be much better for my writing. I'll be much less distracted in Miss Wendy's room, it'll be much quieter and away from everything. I think this will be great.

Theia: Very well then. I'll see if we can't get your new room set up right away, and I'll let the girls know they can move back in here. Thank you, Lenore. I know that'll make them very happy.

Lenore: It was just perfect timing. It's funny how things work out just right sometimes.

Theia: Yes, and now to figure out how to get back over the bed. Maybe more gracefully this time.
*sigh*

Lenore: You might try going over the top bunk instead of the bottom. I'm sure Dinah wouldn't mind you climbing over her bed.

Theia: Hmm.

Lenore: Either way, I promise not to look, so you don't have to worry about being graceful.

Theia: *laughs* Well, thank you for that, Lenore.

Lenore: This'll be great! It'll be nice to be closer to Miss Wendy, and then I can really focus on my writing and all the other projects I can do to earn the money for that bike! Yeah!

Bad Cat!

I'm trying to sell some stuff on Ebay. Clothes no one wears. Dolls that need new homes. That kind of thing.

So, even though I can't bear to part with Cecilia, my Elfdoll Alice, I can totally part with her outfit. Or so I thought.

Her default outfit is way cute. But no one here wears it.

Cecilia was willing to model it for me, but she really, REALLY doesn't like it (especially the "stupid hat" which she felt made her look fat).

I wanted to show that other kinds of dolls could wear it too, and Chloris, my Wonderfrog, offered to model it for me, even though she said the lace underskirt itched.

I think Madyson was bored with playing with her brothers, and so she was happy to model just to have something new to do. I got done taking the picture and told her "Okay, it's all set to go on Ebay!" And she said "No! Mine!"

And off she ran.

Rotten cat.

No wonder I can't seem to get anything listed on Ebay tonight.
