Wendy: Hey, Lenore.
Lenore: Oh! Hi, Miss Wendy!
Wendy: Whatcha doin'?
Lenore: Nothing. Just thinking, looking at the storm clouds. And listening to Spot snore.
Lenore: Is it time to go to movie night now?
Wendy: Not quite yet. Before we went, I wanted to ask you something.
Lenore: Sure.
Wendy: Do you miss the other girls?
Lenore: What other girls?
Wendy: You know, Calla and Louisa and Prudence? Those girls. Do you miss Ahma?
Lenore: Ahma? Is that like a grandmother? I don't think dolls really have those, do they? Unless you count your mom. She let me call her grandma, but not "Ahma" I don't think.
Wendy: Okay. Try to think back, Lenore. Do you remember the girls who used to sleep in these beds?
Lenore: Um.... no. No one's ever slept here but me.
Lenore: This one is Dinah's bed. She sleeps up here at lot, I think so she can get away from Spot. She's the only one who sleeps here, though.
Wendy: Oh wow. Emi's right. You don't remember anything.
Lenore: Miss Emi, your assistant? She was in here a couple days ago, asking me some of the same questions. She's quite nice.
Wendy: This is all my fault, Lenore. I am so sorry. And I don't know how to fix it.
Lenore: There's nothing to fix, Miss Wendy. It's okay. I'm sure I'd remember if I'd forgotten something. I mean, I think I would know if I'd forgotten something like roommates, wouldn't I?
Lenore: Respectfully, could it be you and Emi who are misremembering? Because I'm sure I am the only one who's slept here. I am an only doll, and this is my room.
Wendy: You're right, Lenore, it is your room. And we'll get this sorted out. I need to go talk to Emi for a little bit, and then it'll be time to go to movie night. So you get your shoes on and get ready to go, okay?
Lenore: Okay!
