No time for a real blog entry. Sorry. I've been called away to help out a sick family member. Of course it would be the ONE family member who doesn't live IN the Kingdom who would get sick.
*sigh*
Anyway, she's pretty deep in the fairy realm, and I don't know if they have wifi there or not. I don't know if someone else will step up and update the blog or what. It was all kind of unexpected.
Off I go. Bye for now.

Fond Memories of Wandering...
Things here are busy. Crazy, crazy busy. So I keep finding myself daydreaming.
Of course.
Mostly about being off in the mountains.
Of course.
Last June I got to go on an awesome Jeep trip, and it's one of my favorite daydreams.
We wandered up to Webster Pass, but to be honest...
... right about now, I would wander...
... almost anywhere.
Soon, though. Hopefully. It's supposed to snow (again) in the next few days (early spring, Phil? Really? Stupid rodent.)
All of my favorite places to wander are cold and covered in snow, and will be for a while yet.
So I am grateful for the memories (and pictures) of wanders on warmer days. I'm lucky to have had such adventures.I'm just anxious to have MORE! Come on Springtime!!!!
And now, back to work. *sigh* Thanks for daydreaming with me for a little bit. :)

Wylde Kingdom Business Meeting: Part 4
So even though I'd been wandering all night, I was feeling pretty perky and ready for the 2nd half of our meeting.
I got everything all set up while everyone else was sleeping in a little bit.
It was a little more laid back of a meeting. Everyone got folders full of financial stuff, and contracts and that kind of thing. That part was not very exciting.
But I got to introduce a very special guest, Lynn, the caretaker of Wightwick Manor. He had some very, VERY exciting news for us. No, Wighwick isn't moving into the Kingdom, but it's really awesome news anyway. Early Summer of this year, there's a very good possibility that Wighwick will be open to pixies from all over the world as a bed and breakfast!!! More details about that soon, just in case you want to come visit. :)
So then more of me talking. This being a chair pixie can be a little dull, but it was all important stuff to get sorted out. But now, the real work begins.
More milling about and chatting. Everyone is excited, and now there is so much to do.
We're all headed home with ideas and plans and lots, and lots of work to do.
CJ has a lot of building to finish. First, he's going to fix up the 3 Sisters Craft Shop, 'cause that'll be the fastest and then they can start offering classes.
Aspen is very excited about Wightwick Manor being a bed and breakfast, and wanted to talk to Lynn about something. I'm guessing she wants to provide the honey for the kitchen there.
Saffron always looks like she's thinking about what everyone should be wearing. I can't wait to see what she comes up with once her clothing store is up and running.
Even Salome seemed interested in maybe getting some new dresses, and I think she's going to sell CDs to Saffron to play in her store.
Eris and Sebastian hung back, just chatting. I think they were just happy Sebastian didn't turn into anything through the whole meeting.
So once it was all done and we were all ready to head out, a handful of us asked Harley about showing us the sights. She said she would and "she could take it as long as we could".
I didn't really understand what she meant 'til we got to the cemetery. It was FREEZING! To which Harley just said "Well, it's February in the Rockies. What did you want? 90s?"
So we didn't wander, but the view made me want to. A lot. A lot a a lot. We'll do more wandering this Summer for sure. Colorado is just too pretty a state not to wander in.
And so that concludes all of the Business Meeting blog entries. I'll keep you posted here on how it's all going. Wish us luck. I think we can do it, but it's going to be a lot of work. Are we all up to it? I guess we'll find out.
Thanks for reading. We now return you to your regularly scheduled random Miranda Wandering entries. :)

Wylde Kingdom Business Meeting: Part 3
So we had the awesome pool party, and between that and the meeting I think we were all pretty wiped.
The accommodations were pretty nice. It was a very comfy bed, and we used the pillows to divide up "boy" and "girl" and "Eris and Sebastian" and "the rest of us" rooms.
Very cozy sleepy time.
Except, I was too wound up to be sleepy. And there's only one thing to do about that.
Go wandering!!! It was about 4 a.m. at this point, so there was no one in the hallways of the hotel. But I knew I'd find people soon enough. You see, where we were staying was...
The Ameristar Hotel and Casino in Blackhawk!
So I figured, casino would mean "City That Never Sleeps" right? Yeah... not so much. There were a few people around, but mostly it was the "City That Kind of Snoozes Occasionally". Maybe I caught it during a catnap.
It's a pretty neat place, but it was super chilly outside. So I took my $50 (human money even!) and wandered inside to do some "investing".
They're all decorated for the Chinese New Year. Couldn't hurt to stop by for some luck, right?
Quick stop by the good luck Buddha too. People had thrown change all around the base of the statue and on the floor. Maybe I should have too, now that I think about it....
Even if you're not 5" tall (like me) this place is HUGE. There were so many slot machines to play!
I opted for one with a cute corgi dog in goggles. I dunno, it was something science themed and kind of cute.
But it didn't go so well, and I was starting to get a little sleepy (finally) so I headed back upstairs.
And, in retrospect, I kind of think I could have invested that $50 differently. Maybe I should've talked to a banker or something. Hmm.
Anyway, it's a pretty cool casino, even if I didn't win millions.
Next blog entry, I'll tell you about the rest of the business meeting!

Wylde Kingdom Business Meeting: Part 2
So after a very success first half of our business meeting, we were all ready to relax and enjoy Blackhawk!
So it was time for a POOL PARTY!!!!
And what a pool it was, too! Okay, so to you human types it'd just be a bathtub, but to pixies, it's a HUGE POOL!!!!
Only a few of us decided to hang out in the pool, the rest were all discussing business still I think. Harley was all into it, and rocking a pink bikini.
There was even a boat! But I think Harley just wanted to swim.
So CJ took over the boat.
Turns out, Harley really likes the water.
Saffron, not so much. But she did like hanging around the pool.
Aspen liked just being near the water too.
Harley was really the only one into the water. But it was still a really fun time.
Juno just hanging out.
Salome looking beautiful by the water.
Okay, so open water (like lakes and the ocean) freaks me out, but the pool wasn't so bad. Harley got me to venture out a little bit too.
But it was all Harley's pool, for sure. Harley Haug: the water pig. :)
This was a pretty great business meeting. ALL business meetings should involve pool parties, I think. And in the next blog entry... I go wandering in the middle of the night and check out some financial investing (sorta)! You'll see. :)
